Singer flips out on the air after being introduced as Beyonce’s sister.
Solange Knowles might be a young singer but could Beyonce’s sister already be a diva?
According to FOXNews, Solange already had a media no-no moment yesterday as she made an appearance at the Las Vegas daytime FOX show, More, to promote her new album, Sol-Angel & the Hadley St. Dreams. As she was called to come on stage, the host introduced Solange as Beyonce’s sister which led her to start the interview by calling the host out on the air and calling her “unprofessional.”
If that wasn’t enough, right before Solange hit the stage, the network had played a tease about Jay-Z’s club 40/40 in Las Vegas being shut down, which Solange also didn’t appreciate, saying she shouldn’t be linked to her brother-in-law’s business. It was then that a producer cut her off and told her that the tease didn’t actually air yet.
The singer’s staff did not return calls for comments and did not send a formal apology, but a source close to Solange has told the Web site Pop Tarts that she hasn’t had any media training and is “spoiled” by her record company, which is what might have led to the outburst.
