Beatles Fans to Get Lennon Biopic
John Lennon biopic "Nowhere Boy" is currently underway.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, a biopic is in the works about the life of slain Beatle John Lennon.
The film, currently named Nowhere Boy, will be directed by Sam Taylor-Wood, with the script coming from screenwriter Matt Greenhalgh.
While no cast has been announced, the backers of the project have said they are in the process of casting major roles for the film. Filming will take place in the musician's hometown of Liverpool.
Nowhere Boy will reportedly chronicle Lennon's childhood, teenage years, and his rise to stardom. Greenhalgh's script will focus on Lennon and his relationship with his aunt and mother as well as his dive into music and art and his friendship with fellow Beatle Paul McCartney.
