Will Arnett Returning to “30 Rock”
30-Aug-2008
Written by: E. Van Dril

Arnett will appear on the season premiere.

Will Arnett will reprise his role as Alec Baldwin's gay rival for the season premiere of NBC's critically-acclaimed 30 Rock.

The news has been confirmed by NBC Universal and Arnett's representative.

Arnett will return as Devon Banks, who is Jack Donaghy's rival, on Oct. 30 (which is delayed, considering that The Office will return on Sept. 25). Arnett's return means that he and wife Amy Poehler will both star in prime time on NBC, with Poehler set to appear in Saturday Night Live's 30-minute political specials as well as the new creation from the executive producers of The Office.

Arnett is currently nominated for his role as Banks on 30 Rock, for which he is strongly favored. He was seen shooting his scenes last week with Alec Baldwin in Manhattan, and E! News reports that Arnett is looking very orange (which likely came about because of all the self-tanner).
