A long list of celebs will be collecting money for Muscular Dystrophy.

Access Hollywood reports that this year's Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon will see long time host Ed McMahon joined by new co-hosts and big name acts.

Joining as co-host is Access Hollywood's very own Nancy O'Dell who sadly lost her mother, Betty, to ALS this past June.

Tom Bergeron (host of Dancing with the Stars), Alison Sweeney (host of The Biggest Loser), American Idol singer Billy Gilman, comedian Norm Crosby, Tony Orlando, along with Olympic gold medal winner Bart Conner are also on the list to act as co-hosts.

Celine Dion, 3 Doors Down, Kid Rock, Sugarland, Ludacris, and Reba McEntire will also be doing their part to help as scheduled acts for the 21? hour event.

MDA National Chairman and telethon star Jerry Lewis couldn't be happier about this year's event, saying, "I'm truly honored to be joined by such an incredible team of all-stars willing to go all out in the fight against muscular dystrophy. The sheer weight of talent and professionalism these people bring to the show is sure to make this year's telethon a smashing success."

Reportedly, the telethon will begin from the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Los Vegas at 9 p.m. EDT Sunday, Aug 31 and will end at 6:30 p.m. EDT on Sep 1.

The telethon will have the availability to be viewed in 40 million homes in both the U.S. and Canada with the help of 180 networks involved in the MDA's "Love Network" system. Audiences will also have the opportunity to view the telethon online at mda.org.

All of this will hopefully give the telethon a chance to break its 2007 record that brought in donations totaling $63.8 million.
