Zac Efron Gets Grease-y
Hollywood heartthrob, Zac Efron, who is best known for his adventures as Troy in High School Musical, reveals that he would love to star in a remake of the 1978 film, Grease.
"I love musicals! I've noticed that various movie studios want to get involved with making musicals and I think it's great," Efron states, explaining his love for movies like Grease, according to MyPark Magazine. "They're making a comeback and so I think there should be more in the pipeline. Any time there's a musical, I'm up for being on board. It's fun." After Efron's success so far with musicals, perhaps another would be fit for the star.
The 20-year-old actor claims that jumping into John Travolta's role as Danny Zuko, the cocky leader of the Burger Palace Boys, would be a dream come true for him. However, Efron states that he would only take the role if Travolta consented to him doing so. After co-starring with the legendary actor in a remake of the hit musical, Hairspray, Efron said, "If John was involved I'd do it. But without his consent there's no way I could ever attempt a role like that. That's too hard, he's just too cool. He's a stud!"
Would Vanessa Hudgens be interested in playing the leading lady, Sandy?
