Duchovny Addicted to Online Porn, No Affairs

After announcing his admission to a rehab facility for sex addiction, rumors went flying about a possible affair outside of his marriage with actress Tea Leoni. A close friend denies any affairs, saying the actor is addicted to online porn.
X-Files actor David Duchovny is not cheating on his wife with a real woman – the actor is addicted to online porn, reports the New York Post.
A close friend told the New York Post that the actor is battling an online porn addiction that would lead to countless hours in X-rated chat rooms. Apparently, it became so out of hand that Duchovny needed to seek professional help.
The friend was trying to clear up rumors that have circulated that Duchovny was cheating on his wife, Tea Leoni. He compared Duchovny’s addiction to a gambling problem or alcohol dependency.
Leoni is aware of her husband’s problem and has been supportive of him while he seeks treatment for his addiction.
She canceled an appearance last weekend at the Toronto Film Festival to be with her husband. Her new movie, Ghost Town, is scheduled to debut at the festival.
Duchovny plays a womanizing writer on the Showtime series, Californication. The second season will premiere later this month.
