90210 Part 2 Premieres on CW

The new Beverly Hills 90210 premiered Tuesday on CW after a lot of hype.

Back for a second spin, Beverly Hills, 90210, premiered Tuesday night on the CW. People reported the show is "not your big sister's 90210," meaning this re-vamp of the old sitcom is more sexually-charged, with a sex-scene happening in the first five minutes, and more vulgar, with multiple accounts of four letter words.

A typical wholesome family moves from Kansas to Beverly Hills, and as the children, Annie and Dixon, venture on their first day of school at West Beverly, they are "welcomed." Annie spots an old fling from a summer's past, and the two later meet the half sister of a previous West Beverly student, Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth), who is now a guidance counselor at the school. Annie and Dixon are invited to a party, which Annie is not supposed to be attending by orders of her father. Over the weekend, Annie decides to go to the party, and her father comes looking for her, but manages to run into a woman he was with 20 years ago, who tells him she had a son and put it up for adoption.

Only in 90210 are the stories this unbelievable, and this was only the first episode. Brenda (Shannen Doherty) also makes a brief appearance to stir up drama with other past cast members, Dylan and Brandon. Will the new, twisted version of an old hit continue to cause drama on the CW network?
