Donnie Klang, winner of MTV’s Making the Bands 4, wants to work with Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood.
Donnie Klang was the winner on Making the Bands 4 on MTV; he has worked with such artists as Diddy, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé. Recently, Klang has gathered the attention from the tween sensation of Miley Cyrus.
According to Klang, "Miley Cyrus is about to take her career in a whole new direction."
Klang released his first album, Just a Rolling Stone, on Tuesday, and tells People magazine, "I've been writing with that in mind. I would love to do a song with her."
"I wrote a song called 'Rebelling' that I feel like would fit her. Especially for a singer that's in the limelight at such a young age, she's eventually going to hit a point, like Britney or Lindsay, where she needs to go out and rebel," said Klang.
"Take a rapper, myself and a Jonas Brother, and just do new stuff. That's what I want to do," said Klang, who is the first soloist to win on the show. Klang has aspirations to work with a country music artist such as Carrie Underwood.
For now, Klang is adapting to his new position within the music industry, "I met Brandy at a radio station in the Midwest. She wrapped her arms around me and was like, 'Oh my God, I love you. My family loves you.' And I was like, 'You're Brandy.' She's coming up to me saying she's a fan. What's going on?"
