Young mother Spears sends baby gift with a note showing her support.
Jamie Lynn sends what must be a must needed show of sympathy and support in the form of a gift to soon to be teenage mother Bristol Plain reports efluxmedia.com.
When Vice president candidate Sarah Palin made the announcement this week that her 17-year-old daughter Bristol was five months pregnant and was going to marry the father, 18-year-old Levi Johnston, the teen seemed to be thrown instantly in to the spotlight.
Questions seemed to arise about what it meant politically for the GOP and where public opinion would stand on the issue, not to mention the rise of all the jokes on late night Tv.
All this attention would have to evoke sympathy for the teen.
And that’s exactly what Bristol received from fellow teenage mother Jamie Lynn Spears who knows all to well what it’s like to be 17, pregnant, and in the public spot light after having just given birth to her new daughter Briann Aldridge on June 19.
Jamie Lynn also knows what it’s like to be a famous upcoming teenage wife, as she and the father of her baby, Casey Aldridge, have reportedly been engaged since March.
The order for the gift was made via telephone on Spear’s behalf and pink Mary burp cloths were sent to Bristol that are worth $60.
A spokesperson from Petit Tresor, the baby boutique in Los Angeles that the gif was bought from, told ABCNews.com that there was a card on the gift that read, “Dear Bristol, Hang in there…xxoo, Jamie Lynn Spears.”
