Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson are also reportedly on board for the third installment.
Who you gonna call for a Ghostbusters 3?
Apparently, according to multiple reports, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd.
The pair, who appeared in the first two installments of the comedic classic will reunite for a third Columbia Pictures film. Which will, in effect, revive the 1980s franchise of the Manhattan exterminators of the supernatural. This is according to Variety.
The new film will reportedly be written by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, who both worked on adapting the British version of The Office for American television.
There's no word, at this point about whether director Ivan Reitman, who directed both the 1984 original and the 1989 sequel, will direct the third film.
Stay tuned for more news about the film.
