Patrick Swayze Made Appearance on Stand Up to Cancer

Patrick Swayze makes surprise appearance on telethon.
Surprising viewers nationwide, eye candy Patrick Swayze made a surprise appearance on the Stand Up to Cancer telethon.
Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier last year and was brought out of a dark stage, and the audience erupted in happiness as the lights turned on.
"He looks amazing. For me, seeing Patrick Swayze, someone who is actually fighting this disease, was the best part of the show. Seeing him in person was amazing," said former NBA basketball player Charles Barkley.
Swayze performed a dance scene in which he was holding his wife, Lisa Niemi, in his arms. Swayze was able to add a flair of air guitar, and as Melissa Etheridge and Sugarland performed the closing song, Swayze had a conversation with Barkley.
"He just came up to me and said, 'hi.' We talked about how he was doing. He said he's doing well. He said that he's even gone back to work," said Barkley.
Aniston was on the stage in a red Stand Up to Cancer tee shirt and jeans, surrounded by her fellow celebrities during the closing ceremony.
Swayze staggered around after everyone left and was seen chatting with Fran Drescher and other cancer survivors. The show’s producer, Noreen Fraser, was very impressed with the night’s happenings.
"I just had to thank him for his appearance. His appearance put this event over the top. He told me, 'There was no way I was going to say no to this,'" said Fraser, regarding Swayze’s performance.
