Lindsay Says No to Playboy
7-Sep-2008
Written by: Melanie Sutrathada

Lindsay Lohan will not be appearing in an issue of Playboy.

Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan has recently turned down Playboy’s creative consultant, Hal Lifson.

Although Lohan was offered a reported $700,000 to pose topless, to pay tribute to '60s star Ann-Margret’s movie, Kitten with a Whip, in an eight-page spread, Lohan politely refused the offer. Lindsay’s rep told Lifson, "If there's nudity, then the answer's no. She's not going down the New York Magazine road again.”

Her rep insists that although Lohan shedded her clothing to recreate the famous “Last Sitting” shots of Marilyn Monroe taken by famous photographer Bert Stern just six weeks before she died of a drug overdose, Lohan will not bare it all again. “I didn't have to put much thought into it. Working with Bert Stern on a Marilyn Monroe shoot was really an honor. When is that ever going to come up again?” Lohan says, according to theimproper.com. “I wanted to portray the look and get it point-on as much as I could, to bring it back to life. I was comfortable with it, the nudity and everything.”

Despite rumors that stated that the actress would be appearing in Playboy’s 55th anniversary January issue, Lohan’s representative says clearly that she will definitely not be appearing in the publication.
