KT Tunstall, whose hits include “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” and “Suddenly I See,” wed Saturday in a private ceremony on a remote Scottish Isle.
KT Tunstall married her drummer in a private ceremony on a remote Scottish Isle on Saturday, according to People.
The 33-year-old Scottish singer of “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” fame married Luke Bullen while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
The ceremony was held at the Flodigarry Country House Hotel on the Isle of Skye, according to E! Online. The bride wore a crystal-encrusted strapless silk gown with simple jewelry.
“They wanted to keep it as a private event for family and friends,” a pal told People. “It was just as they wanted it.”
The 150 guests dined on a traditional “wedding breakfast,” which consisted of local beef and seafood. Traditional Scottish folk music and a 1980s greatest hit medley played for the guests to dance to.
Two luxury hotels were booked for five days for the couple’s guests. Some traveled from as far as Los Angeles and the first of the guests arrived on the island on Thursday for the nuptials.
The couple got engaged last Christmas when Bullen proposed at her parents’ home in Scotland during a surprise visit. Their honeymoon will be spent backpacking through New Zealand, India and South America.
