Britney Spears Up for Auction on EBay

Britney Spears auctions off a near life size portrait of herself, proceeds helping the Promise Foundation for Miriam's House.

Britney Spears is joining the crowd and auctioning herself on eBay. Spears isn't hard for cash, but she is auctioning a hand autographed portrait of herself on the Web site.

Spears, alongside her family, donated the oil painting that measures 5 x 4 feet to the Promise Foundation. The foundation provides low income behavioral health services to mothers and their children.

The painting is titled "Mixed Media Painting of Britney Spears" and was created by Daniel Maltzman, an artist from California.

The bidding starts at $10,000, the auction ends on Sept. 20 and the lucky winner will receive a letter of authenticity from the artist, a letter of ownership from Jamie Spears, and the painting.
