Spears’s Album Release Date Pushed Forward
14-Sep-2008

Britney is one step closer to making herself number one again.
Last year, the life of Britney Spears was in shambles, but now Spears has been named the greatest comeback story ever!
“In February we were gripped by reports she had been admitted to a psychiatric unit and yet she managed to put in a controlled, composed and glittering appearance at the MTV awards,” John Sewell of Onepoll said. Therefore, in lieu of Spears’s shining performance and great year of recovery after her meltdown, Spears’s record label is reportedly attempting to rush the release of her next album.
After Spears graciously picked up three Moonman trophies for her “Pieces of Me” video at the VMAs last weekend, sources have told the Sun that her record label bosses are pushing forward the release of her next album in order to capitalize on the “goodwill” towards her. “Britney’s last album, Blackout, was released in the middle of her meltdown and carried negative associations. It did OK but wasn’t as big as her previous releases. Label chiefs vowed her private life would never be allowed to overshadow her career again,” the source explains. “However, they’ve been astonished by how well she’s managed to piece her life back together,” the source from the Sun adds.
“Britney has been trying to keep herself busy over the last few months and music has been a great outlet for her emotions. She’s already got a stack of possible tracks for the album and it’s just a matter of pulling it all together,” a second source adds. Reportedly, a single is now planned for November, while Spears’s full album will most likely be released in December. Be on the lookout!
