Kate Beckinsale, who appeared alongside Cate Blanchette and Leonardo DiCaprio in The Aviator (where she played Ava Gardner), fears that her time spent studying Russian at Oxford University was a waste of time.
The reason is because it doesn't help her now that she is a Hollywood star.
The 35-year-old attended the University in order to be able to read some of her favorite books in their original language.
Which apparently sounded cool at the time, but now doesn't play any sort of role with her current line of work.
"Now I only speak Russian with the woman who does my bikini wax," Beckinsale recently said in an interview. "See what Hollywood does to you."
