George Michael Arrested for Drug Bust
Various reports said that former Wham! member George Michael has been arrested again-this time for possession of crack cocaine and marijuana at the time of the bust.
UK press wrote that Michael was seen loitering in underground toilets at London's Hampstead Heath on Friday. Feeling suspicious, a toilet attendant tipped Michael off to the police.
According to BBC News, Michael, 45, was immediately taken to a nearby station and given a "caution" for possessing class A and class C drugs.
Sunday, Michael apologized to his fans for his latest run-in with the law. "I want to apologise to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I'll sort myself out. And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them," he said in a statement.
The multi-millionaire singer has admitted to drug use in the past. In 2006, he was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car. Last year, police took his license away for two years after the star pled guilty to driving under drug influence.
