Miley Nixes Mickey (and vice-versa)

Miley Cyrus may be best known as Hannah Montana, based on the Disney show of the same name, but after all the publicity she has gotten, she says she's ready to leave the show. Miley would like to focus on her singing full-time, which is not possible while she's doing Hannah Montana. As she sees it, there's much more money in singing than there is in a Disney show. Miley said she will stay for another 12 episodes. Disney came back to her saying that she has to finish the 24 episode season. Then, they added 6 more episodes to the season. After that, Miley Cyrus will be officially losing her alter-ego.

Miley's announcement that she was leaving the show is not surprising given her behavior recently. Miley has been saying that she will be fired and actually trying to make it happen. With her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, she has been showing up very late, stalling production and annoying everyone in the cast and crew. For example, Emily Osment, who plays Lilly Truscott in the show, used to be a good friend of hers on the set. Now Emily turns away from Miley when a scene is done. Emily's father also started screaming at Billy Ray about how he and Miley were very unprofessional.
