Erin Brockovich Working for a New York City Law Firm

Brockovich was, of course, played by Julia Roberts in the film with her name.
Erin Brockovich has signed a consulting contract with a Manhattan personal injury law firm that specializes in asbestos cases, according to multiple sources.
The firm, Weitz & Luxenborg, will use Brockovich in soliciting cases and investigating claims by people who say they (or those they know) have been affected by the (sometimes) deadly mold.
"I'm hands-on and they're hands-on so it will be a team effort," Brockovich told the New York Post.
Brockovich is also promoting the firm and the cases that they take, having already filmed two TV commercials seeking individuals who may have developed lung cancer from exposure to asbestos.
Brockovich is managing to stay extremely busy, already working as a consultant with West Coast law firm, Girardi & Keese.
Julia Roberts won an Oscar in 2000 for playing Brockovich. The film showed the lawyer struggle with her personal life at the same time she won a 1996 water pollution case that saw a $333 million settlement go into the hands of a small California desert community from a state utility company who was in the wrong.
