Mindy McCready Back to Jail

Country music singer Mindy McCready has surrendered to local authorities in her Tennessee home to serve a 60-day sentence for violating the terms of her probation.

The 32-year-old musician was arrested for violating her probation for prescription drug fraud in June.

"I am working very hard to put all of this behind me as quickly as possible so I can get back to what I like to do most: sing, write songs, and entertain," said McCready.

The troubled singer entered a rehabilitation facility for undisclosed reasons on July 16. She was previously imprisoned in 2007 after violating the terms of her 2004 probation on a drug arrest.

"I would like to thank my fans for their unwavering support as I continue to work on my recovery and to regain custody of my precious son, Zander," said McCready.
