DJ AM Is the “Luckiest Guy Alive”

DJ AM’s real name is Adam Goldstein.
DJ AM was released from the burn center in Augusta, Ga. at the end of last week and seems to be in very good spirits considering the events that happened over the past nine days.
"Adam Goldstein is the luckiest guy alive," he wrote as his status on his Facebook profile.
This, of course, is in response to the plane crash two Fridays ago that took the lives of four of the six on board. The crash, it seems, happened after the front wheel on the Learjet that he and rocker Travis Barker were flying on exploded.
The plane subsequently crashed, which resulted in a huge fire that Barker and DJ AM barely escaped.
DJ AM's rep talked to The Insider and said that he "is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide. We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends."
Barker was released from the burn unit on Monday.
