According to the Los Angeles Times, the halftime show for this year's Super Bowl game will be headlined by Bruce Springsteen.
Since Janet Jackson's infamous wardrobe malfunction in 2004 during her performance with Justin Timberlake, the halftime show's performances have been dominated by men. The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Prince, and Tom Petty have all performed.
Springsteen will take to the stage February 1, 2009 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. Last year's Super Bowl drew in 148 million viewers.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band concluded their 2008 tour in Milwaukee on August 30.
