This edition of the DVD Dribble features four films that have recently been released on DVD.

The Godfather - The Coppola Restoration

Widely regarded throughout the film industry as one of the most timeless classics ever created, Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather is being brought back to life on DVD through mind-blowing digital enhancements.

The Godfather was a legendary depiction of the rise and fall of the Corleone family's power in our country.

This motion picture is one of the most decorated of its kind thanks to ten Academy Award nominations and three victories, including best picture in 1972.

To go along with the prestigious accolades it received, The Godfather possessed arguably the most star-studded cast of any film ever. Brando, Pacino, Caan, Duvall and Keaton all performed brilliantly with Brando receiving an Oscar for his role.

This R-Rated Paramount studio release is currently available for purchase wherever DVDs are sold.

Run Fatboy Run

In David Schwimmer of Friends fame's directorial film debut, Shaun of the Dead star Simon Pegg plays the role of Dennis Doyle, a young man who ultimately decides to ditch his pregnant fiancee just seconds before the wedding ceremony is scheduled to begin.

The film then moves ahead in time by five years and it shows Doyle in a more responsible light, raising a child. However, he realizes how horrendous of a mistake he made five years ago and is willing to try anything in his power to win back his former fiancee, Libby, played by Thandie Newton.

Once he realizes that he has competition in the form of an American financier, he decides to train for the same marathon that the financier is preparing himself for to try to win her attention.

This Warner Home Video release is rated PG-13 and is available for purchase at retailers nationwide.

Made of Honor

In a seemingly all-too-familiar plot for a romantic comedy, Tom Bailey, played by Patrick Dempsey, is a womanizing serial-dater. His best friend from college, Hannah, played by Michelle Monaghan, becomes engaged out of nowhere and she is looking to start a family with her new beau.

All of a sudden, Bailey realizes that what he's been searching for all along in women has been right before his eyes ever since he knew Hannah; Hannah was in fact his dream girl.

Bailey now must figure out exactly how he not only plans to break the news to his best friend, but also how he intends to try to win her heart.

Available for purchase at various retailers throughout the country, Made of Honor is rated PG-13 and is a Sony Pictures studio release.

Transformers - Two-Disc Special Edition

A film that relies heavily on phenomenal special effects and constant action as opposed to a complex plot, Transformers - Two-Disc Special Edition is a must-have for those who fell in love with the visual appeal of this motion picture in theaters.

Shia LaBeouf and breakout star Megan Fox play the roles of the main characters, though the various transformations of the robots steal the spotlight in many occasions.

Those who have followed the "Transformers" ever since the television series aired or watched the earlier edition of this movie should definitely check out the digital enhancements that have been made.

Dreamworks Video's Transformers - Two-Disc Special Edition is rated PG-13 and is available wherever DVDs are sold.
