Janet Jackson Cancels More Shows Due to Illness

A doctor says that the hip-hop singer is not well enough yet to perform.
Janet Jackson has postponed four concert dates on her “Rock Witchu” tour following her hospitalization last week after her Montreal concert.
"Janet was hoping to resume her tour in an effort not to disappoint her fans," the rep said in the statement. "However, after arriving in Greensboro, it became evident that she is not fully recovered. A local doctor advised that she not perform tomorrow."
In addition to the announced cancellations in Philadelphia and Boston, Greensboro was also put on hold, along with Alaska and Fort Lauderdale.
According to People, the organizers for the Greensboro concert have put out a notice saying that fans should "hold on to their tickets pending a future announcement regarding the rescheduled date."
"A 42-year-old body can't handle what a 22-year-old body can," a source close to Jackson's fiancé, record producer Jermaine Dupri, told People. "I can tell you that she's definitely tired. It was probably exhaustion. She is doing back-to-back, three-hour shows, and her body isn't the same as it used to be."
