It’s a Bentley Baby!

The country star and wife welcome their first child.
Country singer Dierks Bentley is singing a happy tune as People.com reports that he and wife Cassidy welcomed their first child Saturday.
Their daughter, Evalyn Day Bentley, weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was born in Nashville at Vanderbilt University Medical Center right before midnight.
It was reported by People that “Evie” was named after her maternal grandmother, but that her middle name was slightly less meaningful.
Bentley had said, "We just liked the word, 'Day'- it’s a hopeful word."
His publicist says that Bentley is very excited about being a new dad and reports that Bentley said of his new daughter, "She is the most beautiful little girl you have ever seen."
The mother is apparently doing well as the rep also reports that Bentley told them, "Cass did great, and I'm so happy!"
The singer reportedly told the world the couple was expecting via blog back in May, writing, "Cass's eggo is preggo!"
Congrats to the new Mom and Pop!
