The Ting Tings Announce Details for New Album

They’re currently working on the follow-up to “We Started Nothing.”
The Ting Tings are currently working on their second album, which the band will begin recording in early 2009.
The Salford duo recently talked to Teletext, and told them that fans of the band should expect their sophomore effort sooner rather than later, even though they just released We Started Nothing in May.
"The last record took three or four months to write, and we're looking at a similar time for the next one," said drummer Jules De Martino.
Singer/guitarist Katie White said that she is also trying to pitch in to make the recording process easier.
"I tried learning bass to help on the new songs," she said. "I'm good on rhythm guitar, but I quickly worked out bass is not my instrument. That won't affect the new songs too much."
