Angelina Reveals Presidential Pick

Jolie comments on global justice and presidential race.
Even though Brad Pitt has made it clear who he’s voting for this November, Angelina Jolie finally speaks, approving of Democratic candidate Barack Obama for president.
According to Germany’s Vanity Fair, in a recent interview, Angelina quoted Obama’s goals of justice as one of her primary concerns in this election. "Obama is fighting for international justice, he wants to intervene militarily in genocides abroad. . . . They are things which could move me to vote for him, not his roots. Of course, an American president like Barack Obama would be great for my family."
Jolie has been known for her charitable work with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and has been the recipient of the Citizen of the World Award by the United Nations Correspondents Association, as well as the Global Humanitarian Award by the UNA-USA in 2005. Jolie also comments, however, that even though Senator Obama would be a great example for the nation and her own family (How many are they now? Eight?), it “isn’t reason enough to vote for him.”
