Lisa Marie Presley Delivers Twins

Elvis Presley’s only child, Lisa Marie, gives birth to twin baby girls.
Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley, gave birth to twin baby girls on Oct. 7, thus adding to the Presley dynasty.
According to a Reuters article, “The girls, whose names were not given, were delivered by cesarean section and weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces (2.7 kg) and 5 pounds, 2 ounces (2.3 kg).”
The twins are a product of 40-year-old Presley and her 47-year-old husband, musician Michael Lockwood. Presley already has two children, a 19-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old son with ex-husband Danny Keough.
Presley has been down the aisle a number of times. In 1994, she was married briefly to singer Michael Jackson and later on to actor Nicolas Cage. Details as to where Presley gave birth were not released but an article from The Press Association said, “The singer lives in the Los Angeles area and her publicist said the births took place somewhere on the West Coast but would not give details.”
According to Entertainment Tonight Online, “As it turns out, twins run in the Presley family. Lisa Marie's legendary dad, Elvis, was a twin, and her mom Priscilla has younger brothers who are twins.”
The article went on to say, “In March, when news of the pregnancy broke, Priscilla Presley told us she was ‘ecstatic’ at the prospect of becoming a grandmother again.”
