Jolie Says Obama Win Would Be “Nice”

The actress had good things to say about Obama to a German magazine.
Angelina Jolie is apparently impressed with Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
She told the German edition of Vanity Fair that having Obama as president would be “nice” for her family, reports the Associated Press.
As three of Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children were adopted from the nations of Cambodia, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, the fact that Obama himself has multi national roots (his mother is from America and his father was Kenyan) is very important to the star.
Roots will not be the only thing deciding her vote though as she says, "Naturally that's good, but it's not a sufficient reason to vote for him."
Jolie said that the issues also needed to be taken into consideration.
"Obama fights for international justice, he wants to militarily intervene in cases of genocide, and close Guantanamo Bay. These are the things that could move me to vote for him, not his roots."
Jolie would not tell who she was voting for in November, however, she went on to tell the magazine, "Naturally, an American president like Barack Obama would be nice for my family."
Interestingly enough, if Jolie does vote for Obama, it would pin daughter vs. father in the political arena as her father, Jon Voight, has reportedly campaigned for Republican candidate John McCain.
