Hilton Continues Fake Campaign
12-Oct-2008
Written by: Marissa Willman

The hotel chain heiress continued her fake campaign for presidency this week with a new advertisement.

Socialite and celebrity Paris Hilton was dragged into the presidential campaign spotlight last month after being featured in an advertisement by Republican nominee John McCain. Now, the Hilton heiress is milking the campaign for all its worth, according to MSNBC.

A new video surfaced on FunnyOrDie.com this week, featuring Hilton and actor Martin Sheen, who played the role of President of the United States in the television series, West Wing. Hilton sought advice for her campaign for “fake president” from Sheen, whom she called the best fake president there is.

“Sorry to drag you into the kitchen, but I need the advice of one of our greatest fake presidents,” Hilton told Sheen in the video clip.

“Being a fake president is a lot harder today than it was when I was a fake president,” Sheen told the starlet. “It was the go-go ‘90s –- people invested in a Web site that sold pet food because a puppet told them to do it!”

Despite seeking Sheen’s advice, Hilton seemed to have the answers for economic and foreign policy woes.

“This is the biggest depression since ‘The Notebook,’” Hilton said. “Maybe lower the inflated interest rates so it’s not impossible for [people] to pay their mortgage? It’s not as much money for the bank, but it’s better than no money at all –- just ask MC Hammer.”

Hilton said in an interview with Harper magazine that she would choose singer Rihanna as a running mate.
