The celebrity couple, expecting twins in the near future, opens up about preparing their nursery for the babies’ arrival.
Actor and father-to-be Jerry O’Connell said he was cleaning house in preparation for the arrival of twins with wife, actress Rebecca Romijn, according to People magazine.
"We cleared out a bedroom, actually not a bedroom, it was my aunt and uncle's old stuff," the 34-year-old actor said.
O’Connell also said he and his wife were busy baby-proofing the house.
"It’s mostly getting the nursery ready," O'Connell said. "It's another room. We've got a couple cribs and stuff, so that's about it."
"I had my computer and video games in there. That got cleared out for the kids. So, I'm wondering what I'm going to do with my video game stuff. But, maybe that goes out the window when you have kids," O’Connell said.
O’Connell added they were receiving a lot of help for the process, including the aid of Romijn’s mother.
"Her mom is going to come stay with us. I'm sleeping on the couch – I'm kidding, no – clutching the video-game system. No, I'm joking. A lot of people are getting us ready for the first couple months," O’Connell said.
O’Connell and Romijn are expecting their first children in the early winter.
