Janet Jackson Officially Back On Tour

She had missed nine shows.

Janet Jackson is back after three weeks of postponements on her "Rock Witchu" tour after apparently conquering her migraine-associated vertigo.

Jackson will make her scheduled appearance tonight (Tuesday) in Washington D.C., and will reschedule the nine events that she was forced to skip because of the illness.

"After a thorough medical evaluation, it has been confirmed that Janet's symptoms are being caused by a rare form of migraine called vestibular migraine, or migraine-associated vertigo, for which she is currently receiving treatment," a statement released on behalf of the singer said.

"Janet wanted very much to resume her tour so as not to disappoint her fans, but she continued to suffer from vertigo and could not perform."

Jackson's management echos the statement, and says that she is doing much better, and she's ready to get back on the road.

"She's feeling much better," Kenneth Crear, Jackson's manager said, "and is ready to hit the road again to finish the tour."
