Palin on SNL?

Sarah Palin appearing on Saturday Night Live.

According to the Los Angeles Reuters, Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will appear on Saturday Night Live. Over the past month, Tina Fey has performed what many have called a spot-on impersonation of the Alaskan governor. She has shaken the comedic world with the hilarity of her comedy sketch. In an interview, Tina Fey claimed, "Oh, she called us," when interviewer Conan O'Brien asked her whose idea it was. In turn, the ratings for Saturday Night Live have taken a real leap. Tina Fey may also appear on SNL, although no official agreement has been made as of yet for her to appear.

Sarah Palin has developed a reputation for being the wet blanket type and this would be the perfect way for her to shatter that image. Some believe that this appearance may affect Palin's/McCain's voter turnout. There have been hints all over the media of presidential candidate John McCain to even appear, but those are simply rumors floating around at this point. One thing remains certain; Palin has a real chance in the comedy world. Americans don't want politicians with a bad sense of humor so this is a make or break moment for the pretty Republican.
