Hewitt Jumps to Defense

After Dancing with the Stars regular Cheryl Burke was poked fun at by the media for her five pound weight gain over the summer, actress Jennifer Love Hewitt jumped to her defense. Due to Hewitt's recent battle with body criticism when she had several unflattering photographs snapped of her last year while she was on vacation in Hawaii, Hewitt took a stand when rumors suggested that Burke may be pregnant.

"I think her dancing is what everyone needs to be concentrating on," Hewitt said recently at Saint Jude's Runway for Life Gala in Beverly Hills, according to E! Online. "Cheryl is an incredible dancer. She works her butt off to impress people every single week on 'Dancing with the Stars,' and I just think she's fantastic."

"Everyone needs to leave her alone," Hewitt's fiance, Ross McCall, added in support.
