A big upset win for the St. Louis Rams this past week was against the Dallas Cowboys. The Rams were able to overcome three sacks from Cowboys outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware. Tony Romo's replacement, Brad Johnson, played poorly, as he threw for three inceptions. The Cowboys struggled to impede the Rams' rushing attack. St. Louis running back Steven Jackson had 25 carries for 160 yards. He also scored three touchdowns, and the Rams protected the ball with zero total turnovers. Conversely, the Rams had a grand total of four. One of those four turnovers was a fumble which virtually sealed the victory for St. Louis. Dallas wide receiver Terrell Owens was limited to only two catches, and newly acquired wide receiver Roy Williams had no catches. Marc Bulger did an adequate job of managing the game with one touchdown pass. The Rams will improve to 2-4, and the Cowboys will go to third place in the NFC east at 4-3.
