Amy Sedaris Lands on “The Closer”

She will play Fritz’s sister.
Amy Sedaris recently signed a sitcom deal with Fox in which she will write and star in her own pilot (and potentially her own series).
In addition to this, Sedaris will appear on multiple episodes of TNT's The Closer, where she will play Fritz's sister and not a character related to or being chased by Kyra Sedgwick's character.
Though her role is not related to Sedgwick's character, the show's audience will see a great deal of interaction between Sedaris and the show's star.
The creator of The Closer, James Duff, says that Sedaris's character wastes her days as "a psychic who's wandered the occupational landscape, taking on, at various times, the job of yoga instructor, glass blower, Cirque de Soleil student. . . ."
Fritz seems a bit ashamed of his sister, and Brenda then spends time with her future sister-in-law in some reportedly great scenes.
