Kevin Smith Can't Find Ben Affleck a Role in "Zack and Miri"
Affleck has been in every Smith-directed film.
For the first time since making his 1994 directorial debut with Clerks, Kevin Smith has not been able to find a role in his film for Ben Affleck. Not even a cameo role.
Smith admitted to E! News earlier this week that he had Seth Rogan in mind when he wrote Zack and Miri Make a Porno - but struggled to find Affleck a role that worked.
"I toyed with the notion of having [Ben] play a fluffer, but I was resolute about not wanting to do any fluffer jokes in the movie," Smith said. "I think it's just too obvious. So no, sadly, there was nothing for Ben."
Zack and Miri Make a Porno comes out on Halloween, October 31.
