Heidi Montag's Clothing Line Dumped
The Hills star Heidi Montag recently launched her own clothing line with Anchor Blue (which is a brand in the United States). The line was struggling (maybe because she dropped out of fashion school, unlike Lauren Conrad), and was then dumped by Anchor Blue.
The line, called Heidiwood, wasn't dumped because it was bad or anything like that (even though that fashion school joke might not lead you to believe that). Anchor Blue didn't renew its contract because it wanted to focus on its own clothing.
"Anchor Blue and Heidi Montag are pleased with what Heidiwood for Anchor Blue accomplished during this past year," Marla White, the Director of Marketing at Anchor Blue Retail Group recently said. "However Anchor Blue chose not to extend the Heidiwood contract after the initial year as they will be concentrating solely on what their heritage, their foundation, is based on - denim."
