Vanessa Williams Jumps To Lohan's Defense

Vanessa Williams has recently leaped to defend Lindsay Lohan, whose role in "Ugly Betty" was cut supposedly due to Lohan's diva antics and attitude problems. Reportedly, Lohan's onset behavior was to blame for Lohan's role on the hit ABC show being cut from six episodes to four.

However, Vanessa Williams, who plays Wilhelmina Slater on "Ugly Betty" insists that the speculation about Lohan's behavior is not true. "That's what the press does, that's what gossip's about, and media is about," Williams says, insisting that Lohan was very professional on set. "I had a few scenes with Lindsay. She was a hard worker, she showed up on time and in the scenes I had with her, she was completely prepared," Williams said, according to Entertainment Tonight. "In terms of me working with Lindsay, she was professional, she knew her lines and she was great with me."
