Mindy McCready has been granted her release from jail for violating her probation stemming from a 2004 drug charge (illegally obtaining prescription painkillers).
The Williamson County Sheriff's Department said that McCready was released on Friday morning. She was released after serving half of her sentence - 60 days - because of credits she received for good behavior and janitorial work in the jail.
The 32-year-old singer was accused of falsifying her community service reports way back in June, which was the probation violation she was charged with.
