Nat Cole Back and Ready to Rumble!
Just one month ago, singer Natalie Cole was hospitalized with deteriorating kidneys and fluid-filled lungs.
However, the 58-year-old singer is already back with the help of weekly kidney dialysis! "I feel sturdy and strong. And my voice is still here! It's almost like a miracle because (the treatment) didn't affect my (singing)," Cole says. "I've never been through anything like this. I've never been this ill. (But) I love what I do so much. I just keep going. Not much can bring me down." The Unforgettable: With Love singer plans to resume her November concert schedule promptly, which will support her latest album release, Still Unforgettable. On her new album, lush arrangements were created by Alan Broadbent, Bill Holman and several others. Included on Still Unforgettable will be a duet with her father's voice on "Walking My Baby Back Home," according to the Chicago Tribune.
"It feels great to be back," Cole says, showing that nothing can hold her back from doing what she loves.
