Kurt Russell Tells Whiny Actors to Dry It Up
3-Nov-2008
Written by: E. Van Dril

He says you don’t need to be terribly talented to be in the movies.

Kurt Russell has a message to actors who like to moan about the difficulty of their profession.

Quit your crying.

Russell recently said that it's not that hard to be a movie actor. It's actually quite easy, he says.

The Backdraft star went on to say that actors who take their "art" much too seriously are disillusioned because it's not that big of a deal.

"To go on about acting as art is ridiculous," Russell said.

"You don't have to be gifted just to hit a mark and a line. As far as I'm concerned that's 90 percent of the job. Anyone who finds acting difficult just shouldn't be doing it."
