Obama Election Night Style
America's next First Lady is still proving she's got the look. Michelle Obama chose a dress designed by Narciso Rodriguez to wear as her husband addressed the masses in Chicago last night as the new commander-in-chief.
The style of Obama's red and black dress is based on a look in Rodriguez's spring '09 runway collection that showed in New York, the Associated Press reports.
Obama's style has been followed during the entire election. Her classic looks were easy to duplicate because it seemed she shopped where all women shopped. She wore a floral print dress from White House-Black Market while co-hosting on The View in June. That dress sold out in minutes once she announced where it was from. In October, she said she was wearing a "J. Crew ensemble" while on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Her husband, Barack, wore a dark navy suit designed by Hart Schaffner Marx. The Illinois-based company also designed the same style suit for him to wear at the Democratic National Convention.
Malia and Sasha, the Obamas' daughters, wore a bubble-hem dress in red and a black dress with a bow, respectively.
