Arctic Monkeys May Finish Recording This Month
7-Nov-2008
Written by: E. Van Dril
This according to a recent interview with The Guardian.
Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders recently said that the band could finish recording their third album this month.
The band has been working with Queens of the Stone Age front man - and Eagles of Death Metal drummer - Josh Homme at his Joshua Tree studio out in California.
Helders told the Guardian that the recording sessions have been going very well, and the band may complete the album this month (November), but an exact deadline has not been set.
"We're gonna do a bit more recording next month [November] and then we'll probably be in here [the band's rehearsal space] for most of December getting ready to go out again," he said.
"We made a start on [the album] a few weeks ago and we're gonna go back and try and finish it off. That'll be two blocks of two weeks. It's probably do-able for us to finish it in this next block. But we don't want to put pressure on by saying, 'We've got to finish it this time.'"
