Britney Spears's Youngest Son Rushed to Hospital

According to Entertainment Tonight, Britney Spears's youngest son, Jayden James, has been admitted to a hospital in Louisiana. Spears and her sons, Sean and Jayden, were in Louisiana visiting family.

Jayden is the second son born to Spears and Kevin Federline, a backup dancer and aspiring rapper. Jayden was born on September 12, 2006 just two days prior to his older brother, Sean Preston's birthday. Spears filed for divorce from Federline on November 7, 2006.

This was the family's first trip to Louisiana following Spears's emotional breakdown early this year when Spears was held for psychiatric evaluation for two days. Spears' father, James Spears, was appointed conservator of her assets. As a result of this earlier incident, Spears lost custody of her children on July 18, 2008, though she maintains visitation rights.

Spears has bounced back from her earlier troubles with a guest-starring role on CBS's How I Met Your Mother. She received positive reviews for her performance. In addition, Spears won Video of the Year at the 2008 MTV Music Awards for her video, "Piece of Me." Spears's sixth album, entitled Circus, will be released on December 2, 2008 which is the same day as her 27th birthday. Her single, "Womanizer," which was released on September 26, 2008, was Spears's first number one single in the Hot 100 since her debut album single, ". . . Baby One More Time."
