Ailing diva to resume tour on Tuesday.

After being sidelined with a respiratory virus, Celine Dion will be back on stage Tuesday night (11/11) In St. Louis, Mo. with her “Taking Chances World Tour” after cancelling three shows, LiveDaily reports.

The Canadian singer was scheduled to perform in Minneapolis, Chicago, and Indianapolis over the last week but was forced to reschedule because of her illness.

AEG Live, the tour’s promoter, said in a statement, “Her doctor stated that despite antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, bronchodilators and mucolytic agents prescribed for her condition, she has continued to worsen and he insists that she refrain from singing for the next five days, in order for her to recover completely.”

Tickets for the postponed shows will be honored at the new dates scheduled for mid-December. The tour will end in mid-February.

Dion is on tour promoting her latest album, Taking Chances, which was released last November. She recently released a new greatest hits album in two collections: a single disc, entitled My Love . . . Essential Collection, with 17 songs and a two-disc set with an additional 9 songs, called My Love . . . Ultimate Essential Collection.
