The Plan If “Pushing Daisies” Is Cancelled
13-Nov-2008
Written by: E. Van Dril

DC Comics is involved.

Last night, Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller said that if his beloved ABC show is cancelled, then fans should expect the series to rise from the dead.

Not on another network, or even in a movie.

No, Pushing Daisies fans should expect the show to return in comic book form.

"The idea would be to finish out the season's story arcs in comic books," series creator Bryan Fuller said at Wednesday night's "Inside the Writers Room."

This would be done "to satisfy the fans and ourselves, to finish up the stories we'd love to tell."

But first thing's first. Pushing Daisies is on the bubble for cancellation, so expect news on its fate in the coming days.
