Angelina Jolie plans to phase out acting.
According to BBC, actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie plans to phase out acting to spend more time with her growing family. Jolie and actor Brad Pitt are the parents of six children ranging in age from 7 years to 4 months.
“I don't plan to keep acting very long, I'm ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day.” Jolie did not give herself a cutoff point for when she will stop acting. “So maybe it will be once a year and then maybe it will be once every three years, and then just naturally -- I like being home a lot these days,” Jolie said.
Jolie earned an Oscar for her supporting role in the 1999 movie, Girl, Interrupted. She has also received three Golden Globe awards, and two Screen Actor Guild awards.
Jolie currently stars in the Clint Eastwood film, The Changeling, which opened on October 24.
