Kanye West Arrested in Newcastle

West arrested, but then released, for alleged run-in with the paparazzi.
Kanye West was arrested, but released without charge, on suspicion of assaulting a photographer in Britain.
The rapper was arrested outside the Tup Tup Palace – a nightclub in Newcastle, England – early Friday morning, People reports. He had performed a sold out show at the Metro Radio Arena Thursday night.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman confirmed that a 31-year-old man had been arrested after an alleged assault following an “incident” outside a nightclub, but told reporters, “He was released without charge and no further action is being taken.”
West experienced a similar incident in September when he was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after a scuffle with a paparazzo, the Associated Press says. He was not charged.
West will continue to play shows around the U.K. as part of his Glow in the Dark tour. According to BBC News, his last date is in Manchester on Monday.
