Hilary Duff Signs Up with NBC

It’s a one-year deal of sorts.
Hilary Duff has signed a one-year talent development deal with NBC, which calls for the network to develop a series that stars the young actress.
In addition to this, Duff is also set to guest star on a couple of NBC shows - though the network has not announced which ones that includes.
Over the course of the next year, Duff will consult with NBC writers to go through the peacock's prime-time development and see what's right for her.
Since Duff starred in a 2004 pilot for CBS, which wasn't picked up, she has turned her attention on singing and movies. She appeared alongside John Cusack in War, Inc. and will appear in 2009 features Safety Glass, Stay Cool and Greta.
